Joel Gotler

He has been instrumental in publishing deals for best selling authors such as television personality, Fran Drescher (CANCER, SCHMANCER and ENTER WHINING); Sue Grafton (A IS FOR ALIBI); Sci-Fi/Fantasy writer, Piers Anthony (XANTH series); Dr. Tim LaHaye, creator of THE LEFT BEHIND series’ Bantam Books series, BABYLON RISING; Sting’s best-selling memoir, BROKEN MUSIC and Pete Rose’s autobiography written with Rick Hill, MY PRISON WITHOUT BARS. In addition Gotler exclusively represents the film and television rights to other best-selling authors such as James Ellroy (THE BLACK DAHLIA, AMERICAN TABLOID, L.A. CONFIDENTIAL); Edgar Award winner, Michael Connelly (THE POET, BLOODWORK, LINCOLN LAWYER); Pulitzer Prize winners, Richard Russo (EMPIRE FALLS) and Frank McCourt (ANGELA’S ASHES); James Lee Burke (Dave Robicheaux Mysteries) and Joseph Wambaugh (THE ONION FIELD). Glenn Schaeffer

Glenn Schaeffer is a veteran entrepreneur and executive of renowned Las Vegas developments such as Mandalay Bay Resort Group which owned Las Vegas hotels Mandalay Bay, the Luxor, Excalibur, Monte Carlo and a dozen other casino properties. Schaeffer is the industry’s longest-serving president, and, in his capacity as CFO, has raised the most money in gaming’s history. His current project is the construction of the famous Fontaine Bleau Hotel of Miami Beach in Las Vegas. Schaeffer is also a leading literary philanthropist and founder of the Institute of Modern Letters (IML), a non-profit literary organization that protects, promotes and preserves literature throughout the world. He graduated summa cum laude in English literature from UC Irvine and went on to receive Master’s degrees in Literature from UC Irvine and the Iowa Writer’s Workshop.
